Warriors pluck Roosters to move to one game from NRL grand final

In the opening week of the 2008 NRL finals series the New Zealand Warriors pulled off the big upset by defeating the minor premiers Melbourne Storm at their home ground.

The prize for the Warriors was a home final against the Sydney Roosters. Tonight in Auckland the Warriors defeated the Roosters 30-13 to move one match away from a grand final berth.
