Tough Loss for the Bulls
The Chicago Bulls did everything but win game four of the Eastern Conference finals. On the back of a great defensive effort it was to end in heartbreak for the Bulls. Miami takes a 3-1 series lead after winning 101-95 in overtime.
Late in the game Derrick Rose missed a free throw. He also saw a shot go in and out before having a shot to win the game when the scores were locked at 85 with seconds to play. His shot fell short and then Miami took over in overtime. The Bulls had too many turnovers in overtime to challenge for the win.
Dwyane Wade hit some crucial buckets in OT after going quiet for the last two quarters. LeBron James was again the stand out player for the Heat scoring 35 points. Chris Bosh had 22 and Wade 14. At the other end Rose had 23 points, Deng and Boozer both had 20.
It was a game Chicago could have won but now they face the mammoth task of coming back from 3-1 down. It is not often a team can win a series after falling to 1-3.
The series now moves to Chicago where game 5 will be played on Thursday night.
Derrick Rose may have been the MVP for the regular season but LeBron James is looking likely to be the MVP for the finals, that is unless Rose can pull off a superman effort and lead the Bulls back, but then Dirk in Dallas may have something to say about this.
