Terrell Owens on his way to the Buffalo Bills

March 8, 2009

Just two days after being released by the Dallas Cowboys Terrell Owens has agreed to a one-year contract worth $6.5 million to play with the Buffalo Bills.

He goes to the Bills with a history or rubbing his team mates the wrong way. The Cowboys were happy to say good bye to him in the hopes of improving the locker room atmosphere.

Looking at Owens’ performance on the field he did catch 69 passes for 1052 yards and 10 touchdowns last season with the Cowboys.

Owens is a six-time Pro Bowler and is second on the all-time list for career touchdown catches with 139. He still has some way to go to catch Jerry Rice, who had 197.

The Bills will be the fourth team that Owens has played for after previous stints with San Francisco, Philadelphia and Dallas.
