Japan first into Soccer World Cup

After a 1-0 away win at Uzbekistan Japan has become the first team to book a finals berth for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.

Shinji Okazaki scored in the ninth minute for Japan to secure the win. Japan were also the first team into the World Cup finals for Germany 2006.
