Is the Financial Crisis affecting your Sport?

The world wide financial crisis which was triggered in the US is having a far reaching impact. Sporting bodies and sports fans alike have been hit hard. The Williams Formula One team for instance will lose millions in sponsorship money.

Recently on talk back radio I heard sports fans in Canberra talking about how the crisis has meant they cannot afford to take their family to live sporting events. What impact has all of this had on you. Have you stopped going to live sports events in order to save money? Or do you belong to a sports team or sporting body that has had sponsorship funding slashed due to the crisis?
