Charlotte Bobcats Heading For the Playoffs
In late February it was announced that Michael Jordan would become the owner of the Charlotte Bobcats. This is subject to league owners approval.
Since that news the Bobcats have been on a run of 6-2 including the last six straight being W’s.
The Bobcats are an expansion team who joined the league in 2004. Since joining the NBA they are yet to reach the playoffs.
The Bobcats are looking to change that this season and they are currently holding down sixth place on the Eastern Conference standings. This comes thanks to six straight wins.
The Bobcats in that win streak have managed to defeat both the Orlando Magic and Los Angeles Lakers. The win over the Magic came on the road as they won 96-89 playing without key player Gerald Wallace.
The Bobcats play another 17 games before the NBA finals so there is still a bit of work to get done before they can say they are in the NBA finals. Two of those games are against the Atlanta Hawks.
Hopefully for the Charlotte fans the team can continue to get the wins and reach the NBA finals.
