Arenas Gets 30 Days in HalfWay House
Washington Wizards star Gilbert Arenas was facing up to five years in jail for violating Washington D.C’s gun laws following an incident at Verizon Center.
You could say Gilbert got off easy after being ordered to spend 30 days in a halfway house for his conviction on gun charges following his locker-room confrontation with a teammate. He was also sentenced to perform 400 hours of community service, which cannot include basketball clinics. He was also fined $5000.
