Like the name suggests this is one man bringing you the world of sport through his eyes. That one man is Rob Keating, a self confessed sports nut…sshh don’t tell my wife. I am married and have one daughter. I was born in 1966.
I was born with sport in my blood and have participated and watched more sports than I care to list. My intro post covers a lot of that.
I enjoy following a wide range of sports. My area’s of expertise are volleyball, tennis and basketball although I follow whatever is going on at the time.
In the past I played professional beach volleyball on the Australian pro tour. Sounds better than it was as the tour was nothing like over in the United States. I can say that I competed against some of the big names in beach volleyball including Kent Steffes and Mike Whitmarsh.
I got to go over to Beijing for the 2008 summer games where I was lucky enough to witness Usain Bolt take the 100m gold in world record time. He managed to do the golden triple at the world championships in Berlin in 2009.
